Bevor das Licht schwindet - Work in Progress

Dies ist das erste Bild, das ich mit Painter 2020 gemalt habe. Painter ist merklich schneller geworden, insbesondere wenn mit hoher Auflösung und großen Pinseln gearbeitet wird. Ich mag auch die neue Funktion Farbharmonien.

In meinem Skizzenbuch habe ich eine Skizze gefunden, die ich vor ein paar Jahren in unserem Garten traditionell mit Bleistift gemacht habe. Ich habe sie eingescannt und als Skizze für das Bild verwendet. Der Rest ist Phantasie bzw. Erinnerung an eine Reise in den Schwarzwald vor vielen Jahren. Wir standen im Wald und schauten über eine Lichtung auf die gegenüberliegenden Bäume und Hügel in den Sonnenuntergang. Ich wollte diese Szene schon immer malen.

This is the first picture I painted in Painter 2020. Painter has become noticeably faster, especially when working with high resolution and big brushes. I also like the new feature Color Harmonies.

In my sketchbook I found a sketch that I made in pencil in our garden a few years ago. I scanned it and used it as a sketch for the picture. The rest is imagination better a memory of a trip to the Black Forest many years ago. We stood in the woods and looked over a clearing onto the opposite trees and hills into the sunset. I always wanted to paint this scene.

Ich füllte die Leinwand mit einem hellen Grau-Grün und verwendete einer meiner digitalen Leinwände. Ich habe dafür den Befehl Platzieren unter dem Menüpunkt Ablage verwendet und unter Effekte-Tonwertkontrolle-Farbkorrektur den Farbwert der Leinwand auf Null gesetzt und die Helligkeit so angepasst, dass ich einen mittleren Grauwert hatte. Dann habe ich das Montageverfahren der Ebene auf Überzug gesetzt, sodass im Wesentlichen nur die Texturen sichtbar geblieben sind.

I filled the canvas with a light grey/green color and used one of my digital prepared canvases. I used the Place command to do that and set the color value of the canvas to zero and adjusted the brightness so that I had a medium gray level. Then I set the Layer's Composite method to Overlay so that essentially only the textures are visible.
